The clasps that are used for the necklaces are the fishhook types. These are used usually. 0.034″ bead tips are used in the large clasps. For the heavier threads, these are the sizes used mostly. For the lighter threads, 0.029″ bead tips are used. For smaller bead tips you can use further smaller clasps. The beading needle should be threaded with the right length of the thread and a knot is tied at the end of the thread. Now string one of the bead tips and loop the needle through it and tie the knot so that the knot is in the loop. Make sure that the flat end of the bead tip is next to the other bead. This kind of stringing is continued for the rest of the necklace. When you come to the last bead the clasp should come next to it instead of a knot. Jump rings can be attached to the clasp.
