The center of our nervous system is the brain and it is made of a whopping 100 billion nerve cells. A recent research on the frontal lobe of the brain (the part that is found just behind the forehead) revealed that the frontal lobe is responsible for our social interactions, to deal with emotions, and to detect the errors that happen. There are spindle cells which are special cells that are used to transmit messages from one part of the body to the other part of the body. The name of these spindle cells is called neurons. These neurons are the building block of the nervous system. The neuron is a cell that has a long wire like extension that is called the axon. This axon produces a chemical and this chemical passes through a passage called synapse and reaches the other neuron so that the message is passed on.
