Most of us do not have a static IP address while connecting to the internet. Whenever you connect to the internet from your computer you are assigned an IP address by the internet service provider. Static IP addresses are for the servers that are connected always to the internet. If you are home user, you can be sure that your IP address changes every time you connect to the internet. So the easiest way to change your IP address is to disconnect your connection to the internet and then connect again. If you check now, you IP address would have changed. If this is not happening give some more time before you connect to the internet again.

Most of the time, this will work for you. Sometimes your IP address may not change if you have a router and if the ?clone Mac address? option is used. You can use this option in your router configuration to have your IP address changed.
