An argumentative paper is not an ordinary paper where you will be writing to satisfy an audience. In this you will be writing something to prove a point with evidences. It would have a thesis, a background, the evidences, the objections and the responses. In an argumentative paper it is necessary to state what you are trying to prove in the beginning itself. Then the supportive work for your thesis is written.

You have to organize your argumentative paper so that the Context is written first, then the thesis, the supportive reasons, explanation for the reasons, counter arguments, and the responses. After this you might go to the other reason and so on. A good thesis should be arguable, specific, and accurate. Each of the part in an argumentative paper would be a paragraph or more than that depending on the type of the thesis. Thus make sure that you are having all the ingredients of the argumentative paper so that it is complete.
